Anesthetized ... The American people have become anesthetized by media (mainstream news, print and social medica/Big Tech) manipulations aimed at skewing 'truth' --facts and information vs. spin and omission as the case may be-- in order to favor one political outcome over another?  Will the result of this anesthetizing wind up being the "Long Dark Winter" that Joe Biden had predicted in the last Presidential debate?  Your dystopian future awaits ....

Traffic grinds to a standstill?

Heard yesterday Google is being brought into court on anti-trust violations?  Surprising?  ... Well, since I've been writing about politics it appears as if my daily page traffic has all but completely shutdown.  Coincidence?  I'd like to think not, but I suppose HOPE is not a plan ... I would support Google, as I've been overall happy with this Blogger platform, but suppression of FREE SPEECH is just not something I could ever get behind.  Fix that Google and you may just wind up having a fighting chance in your upcoming court battle?

10/23/20 Had a long drive today and I found myself thinking as I drove along:  What has changed in the last two decades, particularly with respect to the way we communicate with one another, have conversations and engage in the mutual exchange of ideas?  Right off the bat, the concept of a "mutual exchange of ideas" seems to be almost non-existent these days.  So why is that?  I have to think this in large part due to the overwhelming amount of time people dedicate to maintaining a presence on social media platforms, where people tend to surround themselves with others who share their same viewpoints on key issues.  Floating in like-minded bubbles of virtual existence has almost anesthetized people to the notion that there are in fact different viewpoints on a wide variety of issues, because in America --fortunately!--one size does not fit all.  Believe it or not, our diversity in thought and idea --not just skin color-- is what makes America unique among nations.  When the 'bubble-minded' people do happen to encounter a viewpoint that runs counter to their pre-conceived notions instead of expressing a healthy curiosity and willingness to potentially learn something new, they immediately regress into a knee-jerk reaction of outright attack, which is not in any way  beneficial toward the end of fostering a healthy exchange of ideas and information.  We should not fear a truth different from what we have always assumed, for therein lies our potential for growth and true greatness ....

Moreover, the amount of time our society spends looking face-down at a screen has grown exponentially, particularly over the course of this past decade, and being cooped up with ongoing lock-downs and shutdowns during this current pandemic has not exactly helped matters any.  When your screen becomes your main source of input, news and information you can very easily lose sight of the reality of what is actually going in the REAL world around you.  Quite frankly, not only is this sad state of affairs in the current age of media propaganda and narrative-driven 'truth' and information censoring: it's downright SCARY!  

In this sort of modus operandi the social-media user can potentially lose control of their mind and independent thought process, being easily swept along in the prevailing current of spin which more often than not bears little resemblance to actual real-world truth.  The solution to this?  OWN YOUR MIND!  Unplug, engage in the real-world and real-world conversations, with a healthy curiosity and willingness to entertain differing viewpoints towards the end of potentially learning something NEW --"Change your perspective; Change your LIFE!"  Be skeptical of the information you are being fed on your social media platforms, heck even from mainstream media.  Dare to seek truth and information from multiple sources, don't just sit back and settle for the 'truth' that happens to come your way.   Only when you fully assume RESPONSIBILITY for your independent thought processes will you become a meaningful contributor to our real-world society at large.

It also occurs to me that a key founding principle of our great nation is the this very FREEDOM OF THOUGHT and a willingness to engage in a healthy and robust debate, where the best ideas will  ultimately RISE to the top and thereby find their way into being.  If your ideas have merit why ever would you limit the audience in which they would be heard and debated? Our nation was founded upon a profound diversity, most especially a diversity of thought-expression and the right to self-determination.  Somewhere along the way, however, we've lost sight of this!  And we need to, now more-so than ever, find our way back to these driving principles.  For in the absence of FREEDOM OF THOUGHT/EXPRESSION we allow ourselves to become merely pawns in larger game where those holding the levers of power will continue to divide and control us.  FREE YOUR MIND!  That is the ultimate revolution and pathway to spiritual evolution.

2020 Election Winds Up Being All About Covid-19???

I have been thinking a lot about what the future holds for this country in the final days leading up to this election.  I find it encouraging that so many Americans have taken it upon themselves to vote early ... 40 million by last count.  Pretty impressive!  That being said, it kind of feels like my vote, living up here in Seattle area, doesn't really count because everyone I meet up here seems to be on the far Left of the political spectrum, such that my lone voice in a crowd --gone made?-- just gets completely drowned out, but I will cast a ballot nonetheless.  

Funny thing is, being an Independent I have voted for many Democrats in other elections/offices. I look at records, policies, platforms, transparency and more importantly ACCOUNTABILITY.  To my way of thinking, if you are going to get my VOTE, you will have to have a detailed plan and record of delivering.  I have not, however, met many people living up here who express a willingness to likewise vote with THOUGHT; the norm up here seems to be mindless voting for any and everything with a liberal tag on it, across the board.  And when I try to engage people in meaningful conversations about the issues facing the state of our local Seattle area/WA State and the nation as whole, I just wind up getting shamed for non-aquiescence or shouted down in a tirade completely absent of any logic, facts or reason.  It's truly exhausting!

So I find myself wondering, what if I could say something to a fellow citizen and they would actually listen to what I have to say, expressing for once an uncharacteristic willingness to consider --just for a moment-- another perspective:  What would I say to them?

If this election boils down to purely to the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic --which is what I seem to be hearing up here-- then don't you owe it to yourself and to the nation as a whole to actually KNOW THE DETAILS of Biden plan for national recovery from this rather timely Chinese pandemic?  What, if any, details has Biden given in this respect?  Aside from wrestling control from State and Local authorities to nationalize control by require ongoing lockdowns and a national mask-wearing mandate, I have NOT heard anything meaningful or specific on this front coming from Joe Biden or his running mate, Kamala Harris.  Something, "better" and "different" is NOT a meaningful, condfidence-inspiring plan.

 o Joe Biden is on record for being against the timely travel ban on travel from       China in January 2020.  Per "the Science" --Journal of Science, May 2020-- this move alone saved hundred of thousands of United States citizens lives.  According to the Democrats and those on the Left, "Travel bans are wholly ineffective, xenophobic and purely punative in nature", right? The evidence here alone would strongly suggest otherwise!

o We are a union of United States, where all powers not exclusively granted to the Federal government are retained by the individual member states --this where a basic working knoweledge of U.S. Civics comes in handy.  Big Government, as evidenced by countless examples in our nation's history, seldom does anything in a timely, individualized and cost-effective manner.  That's the beauty of our system.  States are allowed to enact policies that will best benefit their local constituents in many areas, with the support of the Federal Government (e.g., federal funding and laws, law enforcement, emergency aid, National Guard).  

From a Covid-19 perspective, it makes little sense to lockdown cities in remote areas where their is little to no infection outbreak.  Same thing goes for mask-mandates.  One size doesn't fit all, even in a national pandemic.  Decisions are best made, with real-time data on the ground in each locality and bearing in mind the over-arching costs of shut-down (e.g., economic, emotional, social, educational, long-term health consequences, that is to say people not getting the routine medical care and screening they would otherwise be receiving).

Quite frankly, given the suppression of facts and spinning of truth in information that I have wittnessed of late coming from social-media, mainstream media, academia and celebrity pudints/figures with a 'national microphone', the notion of surrendering complete control under to GOVERNMENT under the guise of a pandemic scares the living daylights out of me!  But you have to possess a mind capable of thinking in order to fathom the potential longer-term consequences of such a scenario?

o The Obama-Biden Administration did a terrible job in their handling of the Swine-Flu epidemic in January 2009.  They got lucky, however, because the virus wound up not being as deadly as was anticipated in the United States.  Swine flu is now incorporated into the annual flu vaccine.  What this administration did do, however, was to leave the shelves of the National Emergency supply EMPTY! What little supplies were available when the pandemic hit wound up being expired (.e.g, PPE and meals) and fell woefully short on medical equipment/supplies (e.g., ventilators and other vital medical equipment and medications).

President Trump worked with American manufacturers to quickly restock this depleted national supply, turning out hundreds of thousands of  N95 masks, face sheilds, gloves, gowns, disinfectants and ventilators.  He invoked the "National Defense Clause" in instances where companies fell short in compliance.  Trump even came up with the idea of re-using sanitized masks in the short-term while supplies were generated.  He then found a company that had been working on a patent for a machine that would do just that --sanitizing 20,000 masks daily for re-use--  and worked with the FDA to get their patent processed in a timely manner.

President Trump mobilized National Guard in cites to assist in cities that needed them (e.g., New York City and Javitz Center Hospital).  He sent Navy hospital ships to San Francisco and New York to handle potential hospital overflows. Trump worked with manufacturers to get testing for this novel (meaning NEW!) coronavirus up to speed so as to help curb spread in areas of high outbreak.

o From an information standpoint, President Trum did a rather remarkable job of getting the information as it became available out to the American people (e.g., how long virus remains active on surfaces and in the air, what kills the virus --sunlight in two minutes, alcohol in 30 seconds, Bleach in 5 minutes), with his daily Covid-19 expert-driven briefings.  When the experts called for a nation-wide lockdown in order to help curb the spread of the virus, President Trump made the call to temporarily shut-down, even at the risk of jeopardizing the record-breaking economy his Administration had worked so hard to accomplish.  He did this, because President Trump truly cares for the American people --ALL the people, even those who happen to disagree with him politically.  And the lock-down did help to curb, reducing the projected loss of life from over 2 MILLION DEATHS to just over 200,000 deaths --which was projected level with containment measures taken.  This is where we are now, at just over 200,000 deaths.  While any loss of life is unfortunate and truly heartfelt, from a numbers perspective alone President Trump working in conjucntion with the various State Governors has indisputably been successful in curbing the rampant spread of the covid-19 virus, despite the mainstream media/pundits counter-spin.

I also keep hearing that "numbers of cases are going up!"  This while true needs to be looked at in context.  We are now testing over 1 million a week here in the United States.  So naturally one would expect that the number of cases we are able to identify would also go UP.  What people are missing in all of this is the fact that while the number of cases are going up the corresponding death rate is dropping significantly.  That is to say this virus is not as deadly as we initially thought when we did not yet have widespread testing available for everyone.  In fact a number of people who test positive for the virus are completely asymptomatic or have little to few symptoms.  That's good news.  Those at risk still need to take precautions.  10/23/20 No one is discounting that fact, but we should acknowledge an upside when we find one not continue to wallow in alarm and outright fear, "preparing for a dark winter?"  Seriously? What a way NOT to lead!

Moreover, President Trump has worked tirelessly --w.r.t. to the FDA, CDC/NIH and funding-- to enable the development of new therapuetics and several vaccines which will be available within a matter of weeks, given a 2nd term for the Trump Administration.  In fact, in the aftermath of Trump's own recovery from covid-19 he promised that the monoclonal antibody treatment he received would be made available to senior citizens and others across the nation who are recovering from the virus: And the President delivered!  My mother informed me that the Aunt of her cousin, age 95, living in a nursing home came down with Covid-19 a little over a week ago.  She was given Regeneron@ and within three days later, this woman/mother/aunt/wife/sister was back up and running again, almost as if she'd never been ill in the first place.  Truly remarkable!

o As for wearing masks: 1) CDC and Surgeon General for first several masks of this pandemic said masks were ineffective in stopping spread of the virus. 2) Then in late April/May they changed their tune, indicating that mask-wearing may help to curb spread of the virus.  Which is fine, facts as we know them can change? That's part of the scientific process.

Fluid-dynamic studies suggest, however, that while wearing a mask helps to contain the small particle droplet spread from the mask-wearer, it does little --if anything-- to protect the wearer of the mask from inaling these potentially infectious droplets, as evidenced by infection data currently being compiled on mask-wearers contracting the virus.  Hence, the need for improved air circulation in indoor spaces and extreme physical distancing.

Bottom-line, while mask-wearing and physical distancing may help curb the spread of this deadly virus, they are NOT A LONG-TERM SOULTION!  Science does not operate in a vaccuum and we have to consider the longer-term consequences of ongoing shutdown and social isolation.  The WHO organization even came out recently disclaiming the benefits on ongoing lockdowns in combatting this disease.  What we need is a vaccine --in addition to the remarkable strides that have already made w.r.t. therapeutics--  in order to re-open our society and to get our economy back-on the record-breaking track it was steaming along before this China-virus hit.  Only with a vaccine will their be any return to some form a new normalcy ... For in the absence of the Chinese Government being held accountable for unleashing this virus onto the rest of the world and then to add insult injury, lying about it (!!), life in the age of pandemics may unfortunately become our new normal?

So you have to ask yourself, am I willing to having long-term mask-wearing and going shutdowns be the new normal in our nation at risk of permanently derailing our nation's economy and wreaking havoc on other social/educational institutions and individuals mental-emotional well-being? ["The cure cannot be worse that the disease?!] If not, which candidate's administration is forth-coming in their committment to get a vaccine out to "We the People" in a timely, albeit safe, fashion?  Which candidate is committed to holding the Chinese Government accountable for their part in unleashing this pandemic onto the rest of the world, so as to deter China --or any other nation-- from ever letting this sort of thing happen again?

11/28/2020  We NOW have 3 different Covid-19 vaccines, with over a 90% effectivity, ready to roll out in a matter of a few weeks --pending FDA approval.  Did we get this information BEFORE the election?  Big fat NOPE?  We got it days after in the case of Pfiezer and about  week after the election in the case of Moderna.  Coicindence?  Not a chance!  The announcement that "Operation Warp Speed" has helped to secure a vaccine to combat the rather suspiciously timed China-virus in record shattering time would have been the final death blow to Joe Biden's attempts to stagger across the finish line, so the elite powers-that-be put a hard-STOP on the respective drug companies making their announcements until after the election.  Downright scary, if you ask me!?! But not alltogether suprising given the dark machinations "We the People" have had to bear witness to these past 4 years.  Only thing I can say to that is that KARMA can be a REAL B**** and a BIG THANKYOU TO PRESIDENT TRUMP AND VP MIKE PENCE FOR THEIR TIRELESS DILLIGENCE IN DOING WHAT IT TOOK TO MAKE THESE VACCINES HAPPEN!!!

Government Funding to Launch New Social Media Competition?

Big Tech Oligarchs Facebook and Twitter supress social media sharing  of the "New York Post" newspaper story spotlighting evidence of Hunter Biden's pay-for-influence deals with China (via an energy company).  I did not see this same suppression happening with Google, to be fair, but what Facebook and Twitter did   happens to be outright "interference in an election" and no less than 20 days before the official voting day.  How truly shameful!  Of course both Facebook and Twitter made feeble attempts to justify their actions by claiming their 'code of ethics' dictates that they "must verify the story before allowing it to be shared on their sites."  Facebook did so right from the start, Twitter only acquiessed after threats of facing congressional oversight.  That's really rich given all of the unverified mis-information regarding President Trump and conservatives that these hypocrites allow to be circulated on their social media sites unchecked, day in and day out (e.g., all things pertaining to Russian influence over President Trump and his administration, the President's leaked taxes, private conversations between the First Lady and her friends).   As it turns out Peter Schweizer, head of the "Government Accountability Institute", contacted Hunter Biden's former buisness partner, who is now serving time in prision.  Schweizer obtained permission to access this partner's email account in order to verify that the emails referenced in the "New York Post" story were legitimate.  It turns out they are.  So there's is the verification, double standard aside.

In light of the ongoing egregious behavior being exhibited by these social media monopolies in consistantly defying their mandate NOT to operate as news and information platforms, I have to wonder if the United States Congress will finally do their JOB and re-classify Facebook and Twitter as the news and information platforms that they actually are.  The U.S. Congress has called the executives running these media companies in to testify before the U.S. Congress yet again, but given the lack of meaningful congressional action in this respect to date, I wouldn't hold my breath that anything will change?  Congressional bark tends to be worse than its actual bite?  This brings me to my next thought:  Why doesn't President Trump announce federal funding toward the end of  helping to launch some new upstarts that would then be able to compete -- from an $$$ perspective -- with these existing monopoly platforms?  Stranger things could happen .... It would be nice if the media giant FOX News would consider a venture into  this arena as well, instead of embarking on their latest gambling venture.  Very counter-intuitive ....

10/18/2020 Of course, it goes without saying that the very real and tangible evidence here points to the Chinese government's influence over a potential Biden Adminstration to an extent that puts the entire cooked-up, went absolutely nohwhere "Russia-collusion" narrative to shame.  What goes around comes around???

10/19/2020 Hah!  Where do you GO when you're backed up against the wall?  Answer:  Russian Collusion!  Dems are now claiming this whole story is "merely Russian fabrication, trying to interfere in our election."  All evidence to the contrary (e.g., receipt with H. Biden's signature for dropping off the laptop at repair center, request from Hunter Biden's lawyer asking the FBI if they can have the laptop back, and FBI Director unequivocally stating there is no evidence of Russian collusion in this particular instance), in a bind I guess you do what you know ... what seems to have worked for you on some level before.  Interestingly enough, this whole story would take on an entirely different life with a definitive word from Joe Biden denying these allegations outright, but we aren't hearing that.  Yet another instance where "We the People" don't seem to deserve knowing the answer to our wholly legitimate questions.  Don't know about you, but that's not the form of governance I am looking for in a Presidential administration.  Give me accountability each and every single day of the week!  Our leaders have an obligation to be forthcoming in matters concerning public policy, particularly when there are national security implications.  Our leaders are elected by us; they work for us, not in spite of us.

10/27/20  Turns out the FBI has had access to this laptop/had the laptop for over a year now and they have done absolutely nothing with it?!! Are you kidding me???  In what way should that give us confidence in our intelligence agencies, particularly the FBI ... even the rank and file??? Answer: it doesn't give us confidence and rather to the contrary it actually lends credence to heretofore conspiracy theories about the existence of a "Deep State" within our government. As written in the social-media censored New York Post Article, we have hard evidence, documents/emails and multiple witnesses suggesting the very real likelihood of a potential U.S. President, Joe Biden, being compromised by shady business dealings in buying influence --namely Chinese government interests-- while serving in the office of the Vice President of the United States under the Obama Administration.  And we are supposed to believe that Russia is the real threat to America??? Can you hear me laughing. loudly and with high-pitched concern?  Up is down, Left is right, In is out, Back is forward ... With the right spin, the gullible American people with believe anything.  Such a sad, crazy and outright dangerous  state of affairs!

China's Price-to-Be Paid for unleashing Covid-19 onto the World

China should lose its seat on the United Nation's Security Council for unleashing this pandemic upon the rest of the world and then lying about it in the early days, thereby preventing the rest of the world from taking timely preventative measures that would have helped to stop/limit the spread of this deadly virus into and throughout other nations.  For any nation who would so egregiously jeopardize the safety and well-being of citizens in member United Nations does not deserve to have any say in matters pertaining to the United Nations Security Council.  Something timely and tangible must be done in order to disuade China --or any other country for that matter-- from ever letting something like this happen again.  In the absence of accountability, we are basically green-lighting this type of behavior and making the risk of future pandemics part of a new normal in the ongoing world order.  That is just plain CRAZY!?!  Perhaps a list of agreed upon demands that China must meet in order to address recompense, with respect to loss of lives and revenues in other world nations, could be drafted and formally signed whereby China could once again, eventually, earn its seat back? 

The COST of Living Healthy???

I am happy to see that our President of the United States has successfully recovered from Covid-19, and in recored time no less.  Now a free and fair election as fair --as best as it can be in the midst of an unprecedented (in our lifetimes) and untimely pandemic-- can continue to move forward, with President Trump back out on the campaign trail.  Try as you might, you just can't keep a good man down?

    

Had some additional interesting news to share with respect to medical concerns in our nation.  I saw an interview, one on one with Mark Levine and President Trump.  Where for once, the President had the opportunity to tell his side of the story in the absence of rampant spin and bias.  It turns out that President Trump has taken bold steps to drastically reign in outrageous $$drug prices$$ here in the United States.  He signed and put into effect the "favored nation's clause" for pharmacueticals sold here in the United States.  What does this mean?  It means that if drug company sells a prescription for a lower price to another country, then that same price must apply to the drug when it is sold here in the United States.  So a medication that sells for "10 cents a pill in Germany" will now cost ten cents a pill here in the USA as well, where previously it has sold for several dollars a pill.  Moreover, the President put into effect new transparancy federal regulations which will enable you, the consumer, to see what various pharmacies are charging for your medications.  This so HUGE for anyone who has become ill or has a chronic (long-term) condition that requires costly medications.  Now families won't have to choose between getting the medicine they need to be well and putting food on the table.   Thank you, Mr. President!  You are a true hero for the hardworking women and men of this nation!  God Bless and keep you during these tumultuous times, the First Lady and your family as well.  Keeping Mrs. Trump in our thoughts and prayers for her recovery!

P.S. Something is going on with my font-styles here?  Cannot seem to find the uniform font that I had been using.  Every font-style I try posts really small and hard to read, regardless of what I try.  What I get for trying to speak to truth and reason in a time of profound conformity????

10/16/2020 Heard today, from President Trump's rally in Florida, that his administration somehow managed to place a medicare cap on insulin medication at $35.00 per month.  If you will recall, prices were up as high as $400.00  per month under the Obama-Biden administration.  $400.00 month is criminal!  People were having to cut doses of medication, endangering their lives and that is wholly unacceptable.  Thank you, yet again, President Trump!!

Now is the TIME for all Good People to Connect the DOTS ....

Contemplating the upcoming election today, and the VP debate tonight … It occurred to me that if the Democrats, Harris-Biden team, want to frame the upcoming election purely in terms of Covid-19 ----w/President Trump’s recent contracting of this disease will most certainly further enhance the focus-- then, let’s go there! I would like to emphasize that the projection for loss of American lives from "the scientists" before we knew much about the "novel coronavirus" topped over 2 million, if immediate action was not take to contain the spread of the virus.  The projection by scientists for loss of life with containment measures enacted was approximately 200,000, per the scientific models and that is exactly where we sit right now, today.  So in what way is that defeat?  Answer:  it's NOT defeat or failure, unless you factor in media bias and public figure/commentator SPIN.  Moreover, as soon as President Trump was given intelligence pointing to China as the source of this new and deadly virus, he took the bold step of stopping all travel into the United States from China, which according to the Journal of Science --in May 2020, I believe-- cut the potential loss of life in the USA due to Covid-19 by an estimated 70%.  That is HUGE!  And Joe Biden is on record as having vehemently opposed this life-saving and timely travel ban.  But let’s stop trying to outdo one another with respect to past performance on the virus, because doing so takes the important FOCUS OFF of painting a CLEAR PICTURE as to what the country will look like in the future, with respect to Covid-19, under each given administration.  These choices being: 1) moving foward with a return to normalcy, re-opening our economy, churches and schools, getting on with our lives; or 2) continued shutdowns, fear-mongering, closed schools and churches --but green-light on protests and rioting-- no social gatherings and ongoing infringements on personal liberties under the guise of saving lives.  

President Trump has really fueled development on all fronts with respect to Covid-19, from: 

 1) Financial supplements for individuals and families, to struggling small businesses and targeted large sector companies disproportionately affected, as well as funding for State governments to use and distribute as they see fit toward the end of fighting Covid-19. 

 2) Manufacturing PPE and other necessary medical equipment (e.g., using the Defense Authorization Bill to enlist private sector companies to manufacture ventilators). 

3) Reworking manufacturing and supply chains for medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, to shift away from foreign reliance for these products over to companies located right here in the United States. Where foreign reliance for these critical products –-particularly with respect to China-- poses a very real risk to our national security. 

 4) But more importantly President Trump has fueled timely research into therapeutics that can be effectively used to treat Covid-19 and he has enabled the rapid development of not ONE, but rather SEVERAL vaccines that have great potential to be effective in treating this disease.  Three of these vaccines are ready for rollout in the very near future, within the next month to several months, as they have successfully completed Phase 3 clinical trials.

We now, in the United States, sit at the number of lives lost that was predicted by the models for containment measures enacted.  So what stops our death toll from progressing any further?  Answer:  A VACCINE!  Thanks to President Trump, the American people stand a very real chance of being able to receive a vaccine in the next month to months, not in another year or two as it would normally have taken.  This prospect alone, of having a vacinne for Covid-19 in our immediate future, is worth voting for a second term of Trump-Pence, from my perspective.  My concern moving forward, however, is that a Harris-Biden administration, if elected, would quickly move put the breaks on any vaccine approval. They would of course site the need for “an abundance of caution” before unleashing a vaccine onto the public, thereby conveniently enabling the long and sticky fingers of government bureaucracy to infect the process of the FDA’s release of the vaccine. Why would they do this? Well it would not be out of any great concern for “We the People” – as evidenced by Nancy Pelosi’s contaminating the current Covid Stimulus Package release with provisions for abortions, legalizing ballot-harvesting and doing away with the requirement for voter ID in order to cast a ballot in Federal Elections … all of the latter being wholly unnecessary provisions designed to shoot the bill down, without any reasonable chance of passing so that they can blame President Trump and put a lack of stimulus release into his fail-column heading into the election in about 25 days. Rather, a Harris-Biden administration would most certainly –given their past behavior and statements to date-- delay a vaccine release in order to maintain control over “We the People.” For a people without economic certainty and independence, without the ability to go about their normal lives, without the ability to move about as they please are, by definition, easy to control and to manipulate. This in turn gives those in power a license to enact any and all changes they deem ‘necessary’ (desirable) in order to ensure the survival of their vision of democracy (i.e., Democrats long-term, ongoing retention of power). 

Doubt me if you want, but I have witnessed this future in more than one dream. Even if you doubt, if you can entertain the possibility of what I have just suggested you should ask yourself: “Can I continue to live like we have for the last 10+ months? With the economic uncertainties? With a profound lack of freedom to move about and to do the things that I love? With ongoing social isolation? With the doubt in any hope for a return to normalcy?” If you can answer yes to these questions in good conscience, then by all means please do cast your vote for the Harris-Biden administration. If, however, you cannot answer in the affirmative and you want to have HOPE in a vision for your future and the near-term possibility of a return to some form of normalcy, then you must vote for Trump-Pence. You may not always like the WAY the President speaks, but you have to admit that Trump is first and foremost a man of action. President Trump gets things DONE! Moreover, HE DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE IS GOING TO DO (i.e., President Trump is accountable!).  In that respect, Trump is a marked departure from the typical political candidates who trade in empty promises made and seldom kept, those whose policy positions blow with the winds of the audience they happen to be standing in front of at any given moment -- just download the Harris-Biden policy statement from the DNC website and you'll see what I mean, their platform paper and their public statements are at distinct odds on several key issues.  I believe this is why those firmly entrenched in the swampy mire of the Washington D.C. establishment despise President Trump so: Trump is, by his resolve and decisive actions a threat to their very way of life. The more you SEE …………….. Now is the time for all good women and men/other to take a step back and connect the DOTS.  A vaccine in the near-term is the ONLY way we will return to any form of normal in our near-term future and only one electable administration is openly accountable and committed to getting this vaccine out to the American people in a timely manner.

One last parting thought, in a time of crisis a true leader assesses risk and then takes decisive action based on the information available from the experts surrounding them.  A true leader paves the way forward in times of crisis first and foremost by EXAMPLE toward the end of inspiring confidence 

--not conformity!-- and stability in times of national trial.  A true leader realizes that SCIENCE does not operate within a vacuum (i.e., we must take into account all aspects of life being affected by ongoing shutdown).  A true leader does not work to divide --or to sanction the instruments of division (e.g., Democrat funded riots across the nation)-- and they absolutely do not hide away, enjoying protections which "We the People" do not have access to.  A true leader will find a meaningful and timely way to hold China accountable for unleashing this pandemic upon the world, such that they will think long and hard before ever contemplating doing this again!
